WomEng TVET Fellowship powered by De Beers Group develops leadership, innovation, well-being and employability skills required by young women studying engineering courses at Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges to succeed in the engineering industry and beyond. WomEng TVET Fellowship is a first of its kind programme providing Fellows with leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship skills. The TVET Fellowship is a 3-day in-person hackathon helping students understand the key to overcoming challenges using business solutions. The programme is designed to shape the way women in engineering think about themselves as confident leaders in industry.

Eligibility

  1. Applications are open to all engineering, technology and built environment students from Vhembe TVET College.

  2. Applicants must be studying full-time or recently graduated from Vhembe TVET College. Applicants that are not citizens of South Africa but based in South Africa may apply.

  3. Applicants must be able to participate in the in-person event from  23 - 25 October 2024 in Musina, Limpopo.

  4. WomEng TVET Fellowship alumni are not eligible to apply.
